The NEVADA FIREARMS COALITION extends a sincere THANK YOU to SCI for your generous donation to our NVFAC Annie Oakley Women’s Shooting Program (AOWSP)


With your help, the AOWSP program has provided the following services since April 2017.


The AOWSP team conducted 47 basic classes and supervised 77 shooting sessions.

64 team members were trained

1337 women were taught firearms safety and basic handgun skills in 47 classroom sessions

2411 shooters were supervised in 77 shooting sessions

194 students attended advanced sessions such as “handgun cleaning, new gun purchase, etc.”


Each attendee is given a one hour basic safety and handgun instruction class which includes a  AOWSP handbook and a Project Child Safe gun lock, a safety card, 125 rounds .22LR ammo, use of a handgun, and range time. All at no charge.  The program is offered every Tuesday nights except for holidays. The AOWSP all women team includes NRA instructors, Range Safety Officers and Line Coaches
